The Youth Empowerment Institute (YEI) College Mentor was created during a week-long summer camp by a group of 11 high school girls from high schools in and around the Santa Cruz area and Pajaro Valley including, Watsonville High, Aptos High, Soquel High, Gilroy High, San Lorenzo High, and others.
